The 2011 Spring Summer Launch was all about high glamour. Held at designer/director Sam Wagner’s home in Woollahra, her entertaining area was transformed into a colour fiesta of neon Perspex prisms and topped off with a bright, popping collection.
The ballets on display drew maximum attention in their array of tutti frutti colours. These rainbow shades were present in all styles of cult Sambag ballets including the forever faved Tina, Grace and Ali. The colours were splashed out in finishes of pearlescent snakes, patent leathers, eel skin finishes as well as crocodile leathers and muted snake skins. Each ballet as individual as the next.

The summer apparel presented, featured an array of silk dresses full of colour and bright patterns. This capsule range is a first for Sambag, inspired by Sams recent trip to India. It offers a fresh take on Sambags stylish easy to wear pieces.

Four gorgeous models paraded around different looks as the event rolled out, including up and coming model Eva. The face of Sambag Summer for 2011.

The event was highly successful and definitely something a little different and exciting for the Sambag brand. The guest list included Vogue’s Kirstie Clements, Grazia’s new Fashion Director Thelma McQuillan as well as a few familiar media faces such as Katrina Warren and Foxtel’s Penne Dennison and Tiffany Cherry.
